A Children's Day Worth Remembering

On 10 January 2026, the AA Insurance Brokers team travelled to Mercy House in Pranburi, near Hua Hin, to celebrate Thai Children's Day with the children who live there. Mercy House is a children's home supporting vulnerable children in Thailand.

Around 15 children took part alongside Mercy House staff and AA volunteers. The team ran a series of simple, inclusive group games, including beanbag toss, balloon keep-up, Simon Says, freeze dance, and hot potato, all chosen to encourage participation and teamwork across mixed age groups. AA sponsored lunch for the children and staff, and provided a donation of practical items based on Mercy House's own needs list, covering school supplies, daily essentials, and personal care products.

The focus of the visit was on spending genuine time with the children, the kind of community involvement that reflects our approach to CSR in Thailand: hands-on, locally rooted, and built around real relationships.

Following the visit, both AA and Mercy House’s team have begun discussing longer-term collaboration, including potential internship and work experience opportunities for older children through AA's Hua Hin office. We're hoping this is the beginning of an ongoing partnership.
